The hotel will be the final phase of development in the overall master plan, and it needs to integrate seamlessly with the surrounding functions, allowing each plot to coexist harmoniously and leverage each other’s strengths, thereby forming a stronger synergy.

Located on the eastern side of the project site, it is bordered by Tianding Lake on the east and the commercial area on the west, positioning it as the landmark building of the overall master plan.

The project emphasizes creating a resort-style hotel, far from the hustle and bustle of the city, where guests can enjoy the tranquility of lakes and mountains, heal their minds and bodies, and redefine the experience of a perfect vacation. The design aims to foster a close relationship between the architecture and the natural landscape, blending them seamlessly to create a relaxing and joyful holiday experience.

This design draws inspiration from the most iconic natural elements of the region: “Tianding Lake” and the “Moon,” forming the concept of “The Moon of Heavenly Lake” to create a distinctive and iconic theme. The “Heavenly Lake” element is extracted from nature, while the poetic imagery of the “Moon” from traditional culture is used as a design symbol. The façade design simulates a “moon halo,” enhancing the concept while adding cultural and conversational elements to the project.

To watch from distance, the design integrates the building’s volume with the landscape to create a culturally iconic architectural image. Up close, the hotel is nestled into the terrain, creating a cozy and nature-friendly vacation experience with a playful touch.

Taking advantage of the terrain, the hotel entrance leads visitors upwards in a winding path, positioning the drop-off area and the lobby at a relatively high elevation. This allows guests to immediately enjoy a panoramic view of Tianding Lake from the hotel lobby upon arrival, thereby creating a memorable vacation experience.
