Architecture studio JMA has designed the Vistas House in Escobar, Buenos Aires, whose shape is based on the idea of turning boxes rotated to take advantage of the lake views and sun.
The lot is located with its access towards a southwest orientation and has a lake on the back towards its northeast side.
The white horizontal planes contrast the dark exterior, while a wood and glass front door adds a natural element to the exterior.
The ground floor is conceived as an open space that expands to the backyard and its direct access to the lake and hosts all the common areas.
The first floor is dedicated to the private areas with an East/West orientation, while the stairs have been conceived as a sculptural object and can be seen through a pop-out window.
