Architecture and interiors firm Enter Projects Asia, has shared photos of a home they completed in Phuket, Thailand, that blends design and traditional artisanal craftsmanship.
The home, which uses materials like brick, slate, and wood, draws heavily from mid-century modern influences to create a tropical retreat that’s open and airy.
The Brick House effortlessly blends indoor and outdoor living with its 18-meter free-form pool overlooking a golf course and its private courtyard adorned with striking date palms.
Each zone of the house was carefully crafted to ensure optimal cross-ventilation, making it a model of environmental design and personal health.
Bricks have been used to create unique design elements for the home like curves and patterns, with some glass bricks included in the walls to allow light through.
Custom-crafted furnishings made from locally sourced natural materials like rattan, specially sourced plywood, and marble decor are featured inside the villa, creating an atmosphere of warmth and serenity.
Here’s a look at some behind-the-scenes photos and the architectural drawings for the home.
