Having been longtime partners with RXR Realty and MdeAS Architects, it was a pleasure for us to be invited onto the One Clinton Park residential high-rise project in New Rochelle. Designing and supplying lighting on this large scale was a new endeavor for the Design One team, and we worked hard to deliver gorgeous lighting in both apartments and common areas. As the project was being constructed during the core of the pandemic, we were constantly vigilant to keep up with rapidly changing supply chain and cost changes in order to keep the project moving forward while working with LRC, the master developer for New Rochelle. The results are a modern classic, with functional and inviting lighting in each unit, including details like edge-lit vanity mirrors and recessed linear coves. The lighting design continues in the shared amenity spaces; wallwashers add to the wide-open sensation of the lobby and create visual interest along the slatted wood walls.
