Yafei Zhang

Yafei Zhang is deeply entrenched in the architecture field, focusing on large-scale urban developments and contemporary workplaces. As Associate Principal and BIM Lead at KPF, she has directed projects like the Bund Fosun Center in Wuhan, China, and managed a significant 1.2 million-square-foot office fit-out at 50 Hudson Yards, New York City. Yafei Zhang teaches as an Adjunct Professor at Kean University, leading the Professional Practice Seminar to equip future architects with essential industry skills. Her experience spans urban, commercial, and interior design, culminating in speaking engagements like the upcoming 2024 NY Build Expo. Her credentials include a Master of Architecture from UCLA, registration as an architect in New Jersey, and multiple certifications including from the AIA, LEED, NCARB, Autodesk, and OSHA. Yafei Zhang also actively participates in Women In BIM as the Regional Lead for New York and serves on the jury for the Muse Design Award.
