This modular sun awning is a ZIP-screen based system made out of aluminium extrusion profiles. The awning can be positioned under glass-roof-systems or as a self-supporting pergola on height adjustable legs. By night the awning creates a cozy ambience when chosen for the integration of LED lights in the wall cassette (fueled by an optional solar cell).
The patented design of the guiding profiles consistently provide an aesthetic tension on the fabric, no matter in which position. All parts can be assembled without tools, which gives the Portofino a big advantage for the people in the field.
The aluminium construction can hold up to 30 m² of ZIP-screen without needing extra support. All these aspects make the Portofino modular, and thus a great fit for every outdoor terrace.
LSS Lewens Sonnenschutz-Systeme GmbH & Co. KG
Lewens has its own team of designers, with good reason. It operates according to the principle of “Form follows function” espoused by the Bauhaus, because the smooth, perfect functioning of an awning is an important guarantee of reliability and durability. What started out in 1998 on a 2000 m² production site has developed today into a company that employs around 200 people manufacturing high-quality awnings, glass roofs and components for sunshade products in a plant covering over 22000 m².
